What if your meditation practice is helping you feel better, but not helping you change the life you’re living?
That’s a question worth sitting with.
Breathwork, meditation, yoga, nervous system regulation and spiritual practices can be incredibly powerful. But they can also become another way of coping with a life that doesn’t actually feel aligned.
You can become really good at calming yourself down while continuing to wake up every morning to a life that leaves you uninspired.
At some point, the inner work has to meet the outer life.
What do you actually want to be doing with your time?
What gives you energy?
What matters enough that you want to get out of bed and participate fully in your own life?
That’s where the deeper work begins.
The practices can help you become more grounded, present and connected. But then you have to take that version of yourself out into the real world and build something with it.
Your relationships. Your work. Your health. Your adventures. Your purpose. Your everyday life.
There’s a middle path between doing the inner work and actually living.
The goal isn't to regulate yourself back into a life you're unhappy with. It's to become regulated enough to create and fully experience a life you're deeply aligned with.
