YOUR BRAIN NEEDS A BREAK TOO
Oct 17, 2026
You finally stop working, sit down on the couch and pick up your phone.
You check email, read the news, scroll Instagram, answer a few messages and maybe peek at Slack just to make sure everything is okay.
An hour passes.
Technically, you weren't working. Your brain, however, has processed another hundred pieces of information.
Sometimes what you need is a little space where nothing is asking you to respond.
No decisions. No information. No problem to solve. No one needing anything from you.
At first, that can feel boring.
That's okay.
There is something incredibly restorative about allowing your brain to wander, notice what's around you and exist without being fed constant input.
You might even remember what you like doing when nobody needs anything from you.
